ELA822

ELA822

SIRPγ-Specific Antibody for Chronic Immune and Inflammatory Diseases

ELA822, our second product candidate, is a fully human monoclonal antibody selected from our SIRP-directed antibody portfolio for its SIRPγ-specificity, with no binding to SIRPα or SIRPβ1.

By selectively targeting cells that express high levels of SIRPγ, ELA822 is designed to deplete activated, disease-driving T cells while sparing naïve and regulatory T cells and myeloid cells. This profile is well suited for a broad range of chronic T cell-mediated immune and inflammatory diseases where durable efficacy and long-term tolerability are important therapeutic objectives.

In nonclinical studies, ELA822 selectively depleted activated T cells in vitro, demonstrated activity in humanized in vivo models of T cell-driven diseases, and was well tolerated in non-human primates. ELA822 is currently being evaluated in a Phase 1 trial in healthy volunteers.
